WhatsApp may soon allow users to do THIS with their account, Know more here

WhatsApp will now soon allow you to open and access your account from multiple devices. This new feature will allow people to use their WhatsApp accounts on up to 4 devices and one phone at the same time without an active internet connection. Meta is reportedly working on adding a secondary device as a companion to the primary phone with WhatsApp on it.

According to WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo, the multi-device feature will expand to smartphones and tablets. WABetaInfo also shared a screenshot of how you will be able to register a secondary version of the multi-device feature.

To open their account on a secondary device, you will have to scan the QR code with the primary WhatsApp device to complete the linking on the other smartphone or Android tablet. Currently, the feature is under development and yet to be released to the public.

Last month, WhatsApp announced that it is introducing a multi-device feature for all its users. With this feature, users will be able to access their accounts like Instagram and Facebook and send messages from multiple devices at the same time. They also don’t need to connect the primary phone to the internet all the time to update messages.  However, the linked devices will get disconnected if the phone remains inactive for more than 14 days.
