WhatsApp is working on the ability to show status updates directly from the chats list like Instagram. This new addition will give a boost to the Status feature on the messaging app. With this feature, users will be able to see the statuses of their contacts quickly.

WhatsApp is also spotted working on a feature where users will be able to create group polls on the desktop. It would let group members vote for a specific option and look at the total number of votes received.

WABetaInfo shared a screenshot to show us what it will look like. It has taken from a future build of WhatsApp Desktop which will soon be available on Android and iOS as well.
