At the 12th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, Farhan Akhtar received Best Actor award for Toofan, while Chehre receives a Special Mention

The first award for performance in Toofaan was received by Farhan Akhtar. The actor was named Best Actor at the 12th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. Meanwhile, Chehre, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, received a Special Jury Mention. Suriya’s Jai Bhim was named Best Film, while Manikandan, who played Rasakannu in the film, was named Best Supporting Actor at the festival.
