Akshay Kumar, who recently appeared in Bachchhan Paandey, will soon play a historical figure in his forthcoming film, Prithviraj. After several delays caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, the much-anticipated film, which also stars Manushi Chhillar, is now going to be released on June 3rd. The story is based on King Prithviraj Chauhan’s life. The film’s trailer will be unveiled on Monday, May 9, during a premiere event in Mumbai.

Prithviraj is a historical play centred on the life and heroism of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, a daring and great warrior. Akshay Kumar will portray the title character, while Manushi Chhillar will make her Bollywood debut as Sanyogita.
