Twitter is working on several new features that the platform has never seen before. The very first feature they are working on is posting videos and photos together. Soon users will be able to post both types of media together. Currently, Twitter allows users to post 1 video or 4 photos in their tweet at a time. It is also working on features like Statuses, Awards, and pronouns page. It is reportedly also working on the edit feature.
According to 9to5Google, a new update of Twitter for Android is working on several new features. 9to5Google contributor Dylan Roussel spotted a few of the new features that Twitter is working on like Statuses. This feature will add status to tweets and is also expected to show status on the user’s profile.
Twitter is also working on an Awards feature. In this users can give an award to a tweet, it will then show the number of awards a tweet has received. Also, the Join and Discover buttons were seen, meant to focus on profile/ tweet discovery.
This week, Twitter also announced its Twitter Circle which is more like Close Friends of Instagram stories where users can pick 150 people with whom they want to share their tweets.
Some Tweets are for everyone & others are just for people you’ve picked.
We’re now testing Twitter Circle, which lets you add up to 150 people who can see your Tweets when you want to share with a smaller crowd.Advertisement

Twitter is also reportedly working on the edit feature which will let users edit their tweets even after it is published. This might work negatively for the platform as the volume of tweets might reduce if the edit option is introduced.
