The Nagpur Police discovered that the bag contained 54 detonators. “54 detonators with a very low explosive content have been found in the bag,” reported Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Nagpur City.
Investigations on the owner of the bag and who may have left it at the station are currently underway. More details are awaited.
“The explosives are of really low intensity and we are trying to find out its source. Such explosives are mostly used for setting off low-intensity explosions in wells or for industrial purposes. It will be very early to comment on how this was found here,” said another official to Indian Express.
