Are you planning a summer vacation with your family but then cancelled it as you didn’t reserve your train tickets on time? Well, it is a fact that the summer season calls for Housefull tickets everywhere, especially for super-fast trains. However, with this new feature of IRCTC, you can book tatkal tickets instantly.
How to Use Master List Feature
- Login to your IRCTC account, Click on the ‘Master List’ link under the ‘My Profile’ menu.
- Add the passenger details in the Master List, provide complete and correct details – Name, DOB, Aadhaar Details.
- Try to avoid the peak hours for filling these details (usually 10 AM) as the website doesn’t load during peak hours.
· On the other hand, to avoid a surge of passengers during the summer, Western Railways have decided to augment 11 pairs of trains temporarily. Previously, the Central Railway had announced to start operation of 574 summer special trains from/to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai/Lokmanya Tilak Terminus/Panvel/Pune/Nagpur and Sainagar Shirdi to various destinations to meet the travel demand in summer.
Some of the augmented trains running from Mumbai are:
- 12953/12954 Mumbai Central – H. Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Express augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach Ex Mumbai Central with immediate effect up to May 15 and Ex Hazrat Nizamuddin with immediate effect upto May 16.
- 09037/09038 Bandra Terminus – Barmer Special augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach with immediate effect Ex Bandra Terminus upto May 13 and with immediate effect Ex Barmer upto May 14.
- 22903/22904 Bandra Terminus – Bhuj AC Express augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach with immediate effect Ex Bandra Terminus upto May 15 and with immediate effect Ex Bhuj upto May 16.
