The launch date of the Vivo X80 series in India has been revealed. On May 18, the company will debut its new X80 series smartphones in India. The teaser invite confirms the Vivo X80 Pro would be available in India.
Both smartphones were originally released in China, and then in Malaysia. The Indian model will most likely have the same characteristics as the Malaysian variant. The Vivo X80 Pro is the top-tier smartphone in the X80 series right now.
Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 specs
The X80 Pro and X80 both have the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The primary distinction is that the Pro model features a 2K display, whilst the Vivo X80 has a Full HD+ display. Both phones ship with the Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12. Both devices’ hole-punch cutouts house a 32MP front-facing camera.
The X80 Pro features a 4700 mAh battery, whereas the standard X80 has a 4500 mAh battery. Both phones feature rapid charging at 80W. The X80 Pro also has 50W wireless charging capabilities.
The X80 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, whilst the standard X80 has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
The X80 Pro is equipped with four cameras. It features a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with OIS. A 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP portrait camera, and an 8MP periscope camera with OIS supplement the primary camera. The standard X80, on the other hand, features three cameras. It has a Sony sensor with 50MP, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera.
