Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain Returns’ theatre release gets delayed to THIS date, Read Here
Ek Villain Returns, the sequel to Mohit Suri’s 2014 film is delayed for a few weeks now. The theatrical release of the film was July 8 but now it will release on July 29, 2022. The filmmaker took to social media to announce the new release date. The film stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in lead roles in which the male duo will feature as villains and not heroes.

Mohit Suri had earlier said in a statement quoted by ANI, “Ek Villain was my passion project and a labour of love. The kind of love that I still receive for this movie overwhelms me. I am sure with ‘Ek Villain Returns’, the love is only going to grow bigger. And while I can’t reveal much about the film, I can assure you that it is going to be a thriller rollercoaster ride.”
Mohit Suri has directed several films like Murder 2, Half Girlfriend, and Aashiqui 2. It will be the first collaboration of John Abraham and Mohit Suri. Arjun Kapoor has worked with Mohit Suri in Half Girlfriend before.
It will be interesting to note that Ek Villain Returns will now clash at the box office with Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer Thank God.
