Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet service, is now available in 32 nations, according to the company. The corporation announced the availability details on Twitter. Interestingly, SpaceX stated that those who place a purchase will receive their Starlink service “immediately.”
Starlink has had severe problems delivering its services to key sections of the world in recent months. Customers have complained about shipment delays and long wait times. It currently appears that Elon Musk’s space enterprise is working hard to resolve these challenges.
Starlink released a map of the service’s availability throughout the world on Twitter.
India is not on the list of immediate availability, although it is highlighted in blue as “coming soon.”
The corporation had stated that Starlink service will be accessible in 25 countries, but that number has now been enlarged to 32.
Starlink in India
India was previously seen as one of Starlink’s primary markets. Last year, it even began accepting pre-orders from people in India. However, it was put on hold in November after a government notification requiring Starlink to seek a licence for its services before accepting bookings.
Following the government’s warning, Starlink began refunding clients who had pre-ordered Starlink services. According to the firm, it has received over 5,000 pre-orders across the nation.
Sanjay Bhargava, Starlink’s India Head, later left the firm in January 2022.
